JazzFM.91 - Segment Presenter & Producer

Nicky first ventured into broadcasting in 2017 as a presenter on Cape Town's Fine Music Radio 101.3. Initially compiling and presenting contemporary classical chamber works for "Collage", she was later given a weekly 2-hour programme on the station, which she named "Stepping Out". On air for a year, the show celebrated the magic of film scores, folk songs, jazz, classical and world music, and was encapsulated by the tagline: Experience the joy of music that moves you.

From May 2021 till May 2022, Nicky produced and hosted a segment for Toronto's JazzFM91 Station focusing on Canadian jazz musicians. Airing during Brad Barker's Afternoon Drive show, "This Bright North" allowed Nicky to share her recent Canadian musical discoveries with listeners in a short, sharp 3 minute offering.
